Traveling Project

About TravelDude

I've always enjoyed traveling to new and exciting places; at the time I started this project I've been to Singapore, Philippines, Guam, Hawaii, Las Vegas, California, Kansas and Washington. I hope to visit many more places around the world! Hopefully this project helps me fulfill my travel dreams while earning income, and providing a unique and interesting travel blog for travel enthusiasts!

About Traveling Project

Traveling Project was started to see if I could generate income by blogging about my travel experiences and anything related to travel. Blog income from advertisements and contributions help support my travel expenses. The more income this blog generates the more places I will travel to while sharing my experiences and photos with readers on this blog. Read More...

About Traveling Project

The ultimate goal of the Traveling Project blog is to generate a steady income by blogging about my travel experiences and other travel-related topics. Blog income from advertisements and contributions will be used to help support my travel expenses, and in the best case scenario I hope this project will generate some business profit! Travel Project in essence is the start of an online business venture to fulfill my dreams of traveling around the world for a living; treating this project just like any other business venture!

It is extremely important to me that readers and contributors feel they are really a part of this project and blog. In addition, I want sponsors to feel they are getting that extra added value when they purchase advertising on the blog. This is why another one of my goals is to provide unique travel insights in my posts and take exclusive, high-quality photos of travel destinations which can only be found on this website!! My goal it to make this blog one of the most visited and popular travel blogs online, and I’ll work my hardest to accomplish this goal!

About TravelDude

Many of Traveling Project’s readers probably want to know more about me so here’s my litte introduction…

I believe I live in one of the most beautiful places on planet earth, the tropical islands of Hawaii!  To me Hawaii is heaven on earth compared to every other place I have traveled too so far in my lifetime!  I moved to Hawaii in 1996 and became attached to the islands immediately, and vowed to make it where I would live the rest of my life!  Although Hawaii is the place I consider home, the fact is I am barely in one place all the time; I’m constantly on the move to explore new and exciting destinations around the world.

Only recently I have had the opportunity to make my dream of traveling around the world for a living possible.  Until about 2 years ago, I was like every other person working a 9-5 job when I realized the monotony of that livelihood was not made for me.   This is when I made the decision to make a living by working online on the Internet; making it possible for me to set my own hours, have free time to do the things I enjoy doing, and to work from anywhere in the world!

The idea for “Traveling Project” came about when I was working online one night brainstorming for new ideas to build a website.  The goal was to develop another website to generate income when I realized why not try to create a blog focused on travel with the idea of making money with it, and as they say “the rest is history”…

USRobotics VoIP Phone - People can contact me through one phone number no matter where I am in the world! I also get free long distance since the phone calls are routed over the Internet. Just plug it in to my laptop’s USB port where there’s an Internet connection, dial a few numbers and start chatting away!

Home Base

Below is a picture of where all the magic happens, a place we’ll nickname Home Base! This is the desk where I do most of my work for Traveling Project when I’m not somewhere half way around the world! Even though the desk does look a little messy, I did just clean it up to take this picture; there usually is a lot more papers and pens scattered around the desk and you can barely see the top of the desk!
